Happy Days International Preschool Proudly Presents The Hurst Family Scholarship Fund
Newly established in 2015, the Hurst Family Scholarship Fund was created by a valued member of our Happy Days International Preschool family. This gift is intended to assist us in our continuing efforts to lovingly mold young minds and encourage all-around physical healthiness. But now, with this new funding, we are expanding our mission to include helping some deserving international student families avail their children, (ages 1-3 years), to the Happy Days Preschool’s extraordinary curriculum and amazing staff.
What it is
The Hurst Family Scholarship Fund is intended to support tuition for 3 children for a period of 1 year’s time. The fund is further focused on international families who are in need of some financial assistance in order to enroll their children in our international preschool program in Japan.
How to Qualify
A candidate needs to have been born in one of three years (2012 or 2013, 2014) and to have a strong base and competency in the English language. Finally, he or she must have at least one parent who is holding a foreign passport.
How to Apply for a Hurst Family Scholarship
One may submit the following in consideration of their child via an email addressed to email@example.com. We ask for a short essay telling us how the family might benefit from attending Happy Days International Preschool. We would like to know a little bit about the family too!
The Deadline for applying is February 5th with scholarship awardees being announced around February 10th. Happy Days enrollment begins April 1st and the term extends to March 31, 2017. The tuition is designed for a full 5-day program (with exceptions being our summer and winter school programs).
